I developed a passion for neurological rehabilitation while working with people with conditions such as Stroke, MS, Parkinson’s Disease, and post-neurological surgery in both rehabilitation and acute settings. I enjoy working with and empowering people to enable them to regain function and work towards their personalised goals.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) from Auckland University of Technology in 2014. Prior to completing my Physiotherapy training, I competed internationally in Olympic level sailing for the Canadian Sailing team for 10 years, while also studying Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. After completing my physiotherapy training, I worked in a hospital setting for 6 years, initially completing rotations followed by working on both rehabilitation and acute wards, primarily with people who have neurological conditions.
